March 1, 2003: CAP Board of Governors Elects Col. Robert C. Bess as Chairman

Air Force Magazine reported that on March 1, 2003, the Civil Air Patrol’s Board of Governors elected retired USAF Col. Robert C. Bess as its new chairman and retired USAF Lt. Gen. Nicholas B. Kehoe its new vice chairman. The magazine also reported that Bess also serves as CAP national director of homeland security and that Kehoe once served as board chairman.
